Job Purpose: To work as part of a team delivering the Council’s Capital Programme of Flood Alleviation Schemes and fulfilling Local Authority duties under the Flood Risk Management (Scotland) Act 2009.

Requirements

In order to be able to carry out the duties of this post effectively and safely candidates must be able to evidence the following: 

Degree in relevant Engineering (or similar) subject. 

Ability to work on their own and as part of a team. 

Knowledge of Flood Risk Management Legislation. 

Good IT skills in MS Office including MS Project
