Location: Inverness
Hours: 35 Hours Per Week
Duration: Permanent
Salary: £30,266 - £46,410 p.a.**
**HC06 to HC09 (salary pay scale placing dependent on qualifications and experience)
Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose:
- To make considered judgements regarding technical and development matters relating to transport and flooding.
- To represent the Roads and Infrastructure point of view in relation to development proposals.
- To communicate effectively with developers, planning officers, elected
- Members and the public regarding the transport implications of new development.
- To supervise junior members of staff undertaking development management and roads construction consent.

Requirements
Masters Degree in Civil Engineering or a related subject relevant to roads
development management.
Working towards (Graduate level) or gained (Engineer level) Professional
qualification at IEng (ICE) or equivalent.
Valid driving licence. You will be expected to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations within Highland to meet the operational requirements of the Service.
