Baker Hughes, Process & Pipeline Services (PPS) supports the full lifecycle of customers' oil and gas assets, from pre-commissioning through to decommissioning. We work with customers to enhance safety, improve efficiency and reduce carbon emissions. Our engineered solutions for pre-commissioning, commissioning and maintenance shutdowns include specialized services for the oil and gas, power generation and other process industries.

Partner with the industry leader

You will participate in the Field Engineer Development Program, learning how to engineer the services and run the product line’s tools. Proprietary calculations and software packages will be used in conjunction with standard operating procedures, to ensure an industry leading standard of job execution. One-to-one mentoring will be provided, working under the supervision of experienced field engineers and industry specialists. You will learn and follow all of company HSSE policies and observe all industry and government regulations.

As a Field Engineer - PPS, you will be part of a team providing resolution to a diverse scope and range of complex problems:

  • Helium Leak Detection

  • Hydrotesting

  • Nitrogen Services

  • Refinery/ Petrochemical Turnarounds

  • Decommissioning

  • Energy Transition

    Have a college qualification or university foundation degree

  • Have a good understanding and communication skills regarding technical concepts, drawings and calculations and be professional proficient in English.

  • Be willing to travel and be time away from home, with work offshore, and possible international work, as required by project demands, up to 50% of time spent working away from base location.

  • Have a hands-on mentality and mechanical aptitude

  • Demonstrate enthusiasm to learn and develop skills from other senior members of the team

  • Be a self-motivated and a self-starter when it comes to problem solving and work ethic.
