As Compliance Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring that we maintain compliance with these objectives, and our regulatory obligations, in day to day practice.

You will be joining a small group of dedicated compliance and risk professionals who work closely and collaboratively in providing policy updates, advice, training, guidance, support and monitoring. You will be part of an enthusiastic and energetic team that embraces technology and creative ideas to engage the business.

For reference, LendInvest has two authorised entities, LendInvest Funds Management Ltd (which has fund offerings and the self-select platform, an AIF investment based platform) and LendInvest Loans Limited (which offers regulated mortgage contracts).,

  • Providing simple advisory support and guidance.

  • Reviewing and approving financial promotions and communications.

  • Anti-financial crime checks, reviews and support.

  • Performing compliance monitoring reviews.

  • Helping to review and revise policy, procedure and guidance.

  • Assisting with production of management information and reports for committee and board meetings

  • An enthusiastic, hard-working person who works well in a team environment.

  • 2 years + experience in a regulated financial institution. Specific fund management or lending experience is not necessary.

  • Reasonable familiarity with the FCA principles, handbook and regulations.

  • Knowledge of anti-financial crime requirements.

  • Some experience in delivering compliance monitoring or other reviews would be advantageous.

  • Comfortable providing simple compliance advisory support and guidance.

  • Ability to review and approve communications and financial promotions, ensuring they are fully compliant.

  • Policy, guidance and report writing skills.

  • An approachable and supportive manner, able to quickly earn the respect of peers.

  • A focus on attention to detail and clear communications.

  • If you have some experience - in either or both - regulatory horizon scanning (e.g. reviewing consultation and discussion papers or supporting the implementation of regulatory change within the business) and supporting and delivering regulatory training then that would be a bonus.
