Full Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a Groundskeeper, Handyperson and Gardener. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appeal and safety of our grounds, gardens, and facilities. This role requires a combination of gardening expertise, handyperson type skills, and a passion for outdoor work.
Applicant must be flexible job can go from full time during spring,summer and autumn to shorter hours during the winter,

  • Primarily to perform routine grounds maintenance tasks such as weeding, hedge trimming and grass cutting with a strimmer.

  • Maintain and repair various aspects of the property including fences, walkways, and outdoor structures.

  • Manage and execute landscaping projects, including planting and caring for flowers, shrubs, and trees.

  • Operate and maintain gardening tools and landscaping equipment safely and efficiently.

  • Conduct routine inspections to identify and carry out necessary repairs and maintenance.

  • Clear undergrowth, rubbish, debris, and litter from the grounds to ensure a clean and safe environment May involve heavy lifting

  • Assist with projects such as but not limited to ground levelling, path installation, drains and other specialty services as required.

  • Collaborate with management to develop and design garden layouts and property improvements.

    Proven experience as a gardener/handyperson, with at least a basic understanding of horticulture.

  • Knowledge of operating and maintaining general garden and landscaping equipment such as strimmer/mowers etc

  • Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to property maintenance.

  • Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
