Full Job Description

Rutherford Cross is delighted to be working with a leading organization to recruit a Group Financial Accountant. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a qualified or QBE finance professional to join a dynamic team responsible for delivering accurate and timely group financial consolidation and reporting.

You will work at the heart of the business, collaborating with multiple finance teams and external stakeholders, driving efficiencies, and ensuring the integrity of financial information across all operating entities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of group consolidation activities, supporting statutory, regulatory, and management reporting requirements
  • Prepare year-end reporting packs and provide audit evidence as required
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS standards, including managing adjustments related to IFRS 9, 15, and 16
  • Collaborate with teams to address intercompany mismatches and ensure data consistency across ERP systems
  • Develop and maintain process notes, driving improvements and automation in financial reporting
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and wider finance teams

About You

  • Qualified or QBE accountant
  • Previous experience with group consolidations and IFRS reporting is highly advantageous
  • Excellent analytical and numeracy skills with a detail-oriented mindset
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively
  • Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
