Full Job Description

As Guest Service Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for most of our guests. Your role will be to welcome guests from all over the World with a friendly smile and exceptional service. You will work closely with your team mates to ensure that together each shift is smooth and efficient and deliver the best possible guest experience every time.

As part of your role, your responsibilites will include

  • Greet guests in a friendly and welcoming manner

  • Answer phones and respond to guest inquiries

  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner

  • Assist guests with luggage, directions, and transportation

  • Maintain a clean and organised lobby and oublic area

  • Assist the Food & Beverage Team within the hotel with service

  • Assist with other duties as assigned by management


  • Based in the Mercure Glasgow City Hotel, you will be part of a team of passionate people who know that being the best doesn't always mean working around the clock.
