Full Job Description

Post: Handy Person (Handyman / Handywoman)

Hourly rate: £16.00

Closing date: 30/03/2025

Hours per week: 20

Location: Across all Archway services (Aberdeen City, Dyce, Garthdee, Elrick, Kingswells)

Every day at Archway we strive to be the best at what we do, supporting people with learning disabilities and providing high quality care and support.

Based in the Northeast of Scotland, Archway have been providing services to individuals and families for over 30 years. These services include permanent care, respite and supported living.

The Role

To provide an effective maintenance and caretaking service ensuring that the grounds and external fabric of the buildings are in good order. Internally, the post holder will ensure the environment is safe, all internal repairs are undertaken timeously, and that the décor is in a good state of repair.

The postholder will have designated days/times at each service as part of a weekly timetable. The postholder may be required to use their own transport to get to the services as per the agreed timetable.
