Head Chef Restaurant

Joining our team, you will be in charge of the kitchen brigade, training and motivating them to deliver a high quality and efficient service. Experience of being a Head Chef is essential for this role and you will need to be a great manager with attention to detail in food preparation and service.Head Chef Duties:

• Managing and controlling budgets


• Cooking to a high standard with great presentation skills


• Recipe development


• Day-to-day management of the kitchen brigade


• Staff recruitment, training and development


• Managing Staff Rotas


• Managing food ordering, delivery, storage and cost control


• Ensuring the highest levels of compliance & kitchen hygiene


• Food preparation with attention to detail and efficient service


• Menu planning and development


• Computer literate in using Microsoft excel spreadsheets and word
  
  We are looking for a commercially focused Head Chef to lead a dynamic team here at the multi award winning Whiski Rooms in Edinburghs historic Old Town. Joining one of Edinburghs leading independently owned hospitality companies (Omni Taverns), your contribution really matters to us and you will have overall responsibility for Whiski Rooms Restaurant & Bar food offering and ensuring brand standards are adhered to, maintained and developed.
  
  Minimum estimated earnings of £50K pa
