Head of Accounts Receivable

WA is delighted to be partnering with a leading multinational organisation to recruit a Head of Accounts Receivable.

The Role:

This is a high-profile leadership role, instrumental in shaping and delivering quality AR processes across the business. You will lead a large team and work closely with senior stakeholders to drive efficiency in billing, credit control, and collections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and execute the AR strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives

• Oversee all aspects of billing, credit control, credit risk, and sales ledger

• Develop and implement AR performance metrics, ensuring proactive improvements in cash collection

• Lead and mentor a high-performing AR team, fostering collaboration and professional development

• Act as a senior escalation point for high-value customer billing and payment matters

• Collaborate with finance, sales, legal, and compliance teams to manage credit risk and optimise cash flow

• Drive process automation and digital transformation initiatives to enhance AR efficiency

• Ensure adherence to global credit policies, aligning with risk frameworks and governance standards

About You:

To excel in this role, you will be a dynamic and strategic leader with a strong track record in AR transformation and operational excellence.

Skills Experience:

• Strong experience in accounts receivable, credit, and collections, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role

• Proven expertise in managing AR operations, credit risk, and cash flow optimisation

• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments

• Experience leading AR teams through periods of significant change and transformation
