Glasgow Warriors are looking for an ambitious, driven, and passionate Head of Athletic Performance to take our team's physical performance to the next level. This is a unique opportunity to oversee and develop the Strength and Conditioning program for the current URC champions, maximising the on-field performance of elite athletes.,
- Lead the S&C Department: Set high-performance standards for the team's Strength & Conditioning program, creating a culture of excellence, accountability, and continual growth
- Enhance Player Performance: Design and implement innovative training strategies that optimise the physical readiness of Glasgow Warriors' players, ensuring they perform at their peak across all competitions
- Performance Planning: Work closely with the Head Coach and other colleagues to develop comprehensive performance plans, aligning with both club and national goals
- Player Development: Collaborate with Scottish Rugby's National Head of Physical Performance to ensure the long-term development of players in line with Scottish Rugby's national strategy, supporting the next generation of professional and academy players
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Coordinate across key support areas (nutrition, medical, sports science) to ensure a cohesive approach to player preparation and recovery

Proven experience in a high-performance environment, ideally in professional rugby or elite sports - Expertise in Strength & Conditioning principles, with a demonstrated ability to enhance physical performance in elite athletes
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to foster a high-performance culture within the team
- Experience working collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams, particularly within sports science, medical, and nutrition fields
- Alignment with long-term athlete development frameworks and a passion for nurturing talent
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
