About Volunteer Scotland Volunteer Scotland is the leadership organisation in Scotland to support volunteering, and a key player in delivering the ambitions set out in Scotland s Volunteering Action Plan. We also provide disclosure checks to the voluntary sector in Scotland. We are recognised for our knowledge, expertise and authority on how to support excellent volunteer practice and experiences for everyone. We are in the process of developing a fresh vision and strategy to guide us over the next few years the strategy is ambitious, sets out our distinct contribution to the sector, and seeks to offer fresh, innovative and appealing services for members and non-members alike. Role We have an exciting and new senior leadership opportunity to work as part of a successful team to deliver our ambitions to develop and successfully deliver a range of services and products, that will support volunteers and volunteering involving organisations to participate in and provide, the very best volunteering experience. Our ambition is to grow our membership and supporter base through providing products and services that are innovative, impactful, and give strength to the volunteering voice in Scotland. As part of our new Strategy (to be launched late Autumn 24) we have recognised that Volunteer Scotland must enhance its offer around products and services. We seek an experienced individual to lead this function and through a focus on development and delivery to greatly increase the level of impact we deliver to volunteers, volunteer involving organisations and our membership. There is a clear and growing commercial focus, and a belief that our long-term sustainability is strongly linked to the delivery of a coherent portfolio of products and services that are attractive and deliver value for customers. We are looking for a passionate and solution-driven individual to drive the development and delivery of our product and service portfolio. We seek an individual with a clear focus upon excellence within development and delivery. Someone who can lead in helping Volunteer Scotland to identify and prioritise opportunities, which deliver impact for our funders, (potential) partners, members and supporters. You will have an entrepreneurial mindset with a proven track record of working collaboratively across an organisation; to develop new products and services, resource plan and manage risk effectively. Engaging with and supporting senior level stakeholders you ll help identify new product and service concepts as well as develop existing services to maximise Volunteer Scotland s reach and income. You will provide operational leadership to delivery function leads and will fulfil the role of deputy to the CEO as required., None specified
