West College Scotland is seeking an experienced and progressive Head of Finance to join our modern, ambitious and innovative College.

The College has around 21,500 students and 1,200 staff, making it one of the biggest educational institutions in Scotland.

In a challenging financial climate, this role is pivotal to ensuring an efficient and cost-effective financial services function for the College, whilst contributing to overall business planning and creating opportunities for quality improvements and change.

A multi-function role, the remit also includes student funding and procurement and plays a key leadership role across the college.

To excel in this role, you will hold a professional accounting qualification and demonstrate significant financial skills and experience, utilising analytics and technology to improve efficiencies and decision making.

You will work well with peers to enhance the overall College offering and be a person-centred leader with an ability to support, nurture, and empower your teams.
