Full Job Description

  • Drive the growth of the UK Retail business by leveraging all distribution channels.
  • Develop and maintain a strong market reputation and engage in both new and existing partnerships.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define and implement strategies for new business initiatives.
  • Oversee the delivery and implementation of deals both internally and externally.
  • Develop and execute Sales & Distribution strategies that surpass our competition and align with business goals.
  • Represent Zurich in negotiations with external stakeholders, including major distribution partners, customers, and regulators.
  • Work closely with Sales and Distribution leadership to drive development across the UK distribution landscape.
  • Establish metrics and KPIs to monitor the performance and success of new business initiatives, providing regular reports to senior management.

    We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our Sales & Distribution team as the Head of New Business Development. This pivotal role will be focused on working across the UK landscape to identify new opportunities and distribution channels, aligned with our strategic plan to drive significant growth., Strong financial understanding and regulatory awareness.
  • Experience in managing profit and loss and deal management.
  • Proven experience in high-level business-to-business negotiations and partnership development.
  • Experience in business leadership and the motivation of large remote teams.
  • Credible market presence and reputation.
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
