Full Job Description

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Procurement Development and Indirects within the Procurement Team based in Glasgow, Scotland. Reporting to the Head of Brands Packaging & Procurement, this is a key role responsible for driving the strategic development of the overarching procurement function, while ensuring delivery across the Indirect categories of spend.,

  • Drive the procurement functional strategy development and execution through collaboration with procurement leadership team and key business stakeholder groups.

  • Define and deploy the Procurement Source to Contract Framework with standardized tools and templates to enable growth and protect the business.

  • Establish a category led approach, identify opportunities to unlock value through either/both tender activities/supplier partnership management, ensuring robust compliance and governance.

  • Develop a Procurement performance and value creation framework and reporting suite.

  • Lead the design and deployment of the procurement systems strategy and roadmap.

  • Drive the development and delivery of the Indirect Procurement Strategy, aligned with the relevant Business Units, defining categories of spend in/out of scope.

  • Develop a Supplier Relationship Management programme to ensure consistent approach to supplier performance management & development with key partners.

  • Ensure the relevant functional governance and compliance, aligning to the appropriate policies, processes and contract management principles.

  • Build effective relationships across all key functional stakeholders across each business unit and the relevant functions/markets.

    To take on the challenge of this role you will have knowledge of procurement operating models, process and systems, with demonstrable leadership and change expertise, with strategic Indirect Procurement experience commensurate to the role. You will have a proven track record of building high performing teams and inspiring others with the ability to drive change and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.

  • Salary £77,000 - £93,00 per annum

  • Annual Bonus
