Head of Quality & Safety

Connect Appointments have a unique opportunity for a Head of Quality & Safety to join our established client in Glasgow!

Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, the successful candidate will play a key role in the continuous development of our client's processes and products. With emphasis on quality standards, you will lead quality-related activities including quality assurance, customer quality queries and processual improvements.

Schedule: Standard working hours, Monday to Friday

Working as Head of Quality & Safety:

• Developing and implementing quality strategies to ensure alignment with overall product standards and business objectives
• Identify areas of improvement and ensure smooth implementation of new processes
• Effectively managing and leading the Quality team
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislations, standards and accreditations (including AS9100, Rev D and Nadcap)
• Collaborating effectively with other departments and areas of the business

To be considered for this Head of Quality & Safety role, the successful candidate must have:

• Excellent leadership skills
• Strong communication skills in a variety of organisational contexts
• Relevant qualifications/degree in an engineering subject
• Previous experience within aerospace and precision machining, with a focus on quality
