Full Job Description

Applications are invited for the post of Head of Risk and Clinical Governance at NHS Golden Jubilee.

NHS Golden Jubilee is a national board which comprises Golden Jubilee National Hospital, Golden Jubilee Research Institute, Golden Jubilee Conference Hotel, NHS Scotland Academy (in partnership with NES) and the Centre for Sustainable Delivery.

Our clinical services include anaesthesia and critical care, cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, general surgery, imaging, ophthalmology and orthopaedics. Our services include a mix of high volume and high complexity specialised care, including three national services. Our Clinical Governance department has a budget of £765k pa, and includes 17.03 WTE staff. 

We are seeking a dynamic leader who will advance us on our journey to seek continual improvement in the quality of care we deliver, in a truly person-centred approach, in collaboration with all of our clinical teams. You will provide leadership, support and guidance on all aspects of clinical risk and patient safety.
