The opportunity

As part of our continuing expansion of the EMEA business and of the UK Business Development and Client Services Team, we have an exciting opportunity for an energised individual to take up the new role of Head of UK Business Development and Client Services.

Reporting to an Executive Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing a professional team, ensuring effective stakeholder management of key clients and brokers, driving business development with existing/new clients and brokers plus ensuring our client services and events programme is market leading. The role will also have responsibility for the stakeholder management of some key clients and/or brokers.

This is a home-based role, and candidates may be located across the UK. To fulfil the requirements of the role the successful candidate will need to travel nationally when required.

Key Accountabilities
-Working with an Executive Director, devise and lead the execution of the UK strategy for account management, business development and the client services and events programme, to achieve FY revenue targets.

-Effective promotion and development of team and their activities

-Create/maintain a high positive professional profile in the market, including attending and presenting at industry events.

-Effective management and development of the Client Services and Business Development team - including Client Development Leads, Broker Development Lead, Public Sector Lead and Client Services Lead.

-Ensure plans in all areas are proactively driven to maximise the robust and professional stakeholder management of clients/ brokers and of our market profile.
-Act as the main team escalation point in overseeing the resolution of client issues, ensuring they are handled with urgency, maintaining client trust and satisfaction.
-Manage a small portfolio of clients and/or brokers to ensure there is a full understanding of the responsibilities of team members.

-Manage Rubix CRM system - Oversee the management of all UK client relationships via our internal CRM system, ensuring a seamless and professional experience across all touchpoints.

-Ensure MI and tracking of opportunities and wins are delivered in a timely manner for management reporting needs.

-Ensure strong links are maintained with all UK Heads and Technical Leads to provide an integrated plan to maximise their profile and growth potential. Develop close working relationships with other Business Units and other interested stakeholders in the UK business.

-Market and Industry Insight - Stay abreast of industry trends and developments to ensure the company's client services remain competitive and relevant. Benchmark the company's client service offerings against competitors to identify areas for enhancement.

-Lead and support projects and initiatives, representing the team's interests and contributing additional team resource where required.

-A willingness to travel nationally where required.
