Can you make a difference to the future lives of the children and young people in Perth & Kinross? We have an opportunity you will not want to miss as Head Teacher of Milnathort Primary School.

As Head Teacher you will have responsibility for the development and delivery of continued high quality learning and teaching which meets the needs of all pupils. You will also be expected to lead quality assurance measures to plan, develop and monitor the continuous improvement of the school and implement local and national objectives.

You will be a highly motivated, enthustiastic individual who is willing to be brave, explore your own professional development and apply new learning.

The Head Teachers Education and Training (Scotland) Regulations 2019 require candidates who are appointed to their first permanent Head Teacher post from 1 August 2020 to have attained the Standard for Headship. If you have not gained this qualification, appointment can only be made on a fixed term basis for maximum period of 30 months.
