Full Job Description

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.  

The shift pattern is Mon-Sat day shift.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic HCSW based in the Ophthalmology outpatient department of Inverclyde Royal Hospital. The successful candidate will be expected to work as part of the Ophthalmology team, supporting the registered nursing team and be involved in all care needs within the outpatient and day ward setting. You will be required to work within a busy clinical areas working collaboratively as part of the multidisciplinary team. HSCW experience is desirable not essential as full training will be given. You are required to be flexible, forward thinking and able to work effectively within changing and dynamic environment. You should have excellent communication with an eagerness to learn.
