Full Job Description

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.

This is fixed-term post of 18 months. 

The shift pattern for this position is Monday Friday 0845 am 1715 pm.

We wish to recruit a motivated, organised Health Care Support Worker to join our friendly Dental Nursing Team based at Glasgow Dental Hospital & School. Glasgow Dental Hospital and School is part of the Oral Health Directorate and is the main referral centre for specialist dental advice and treatment within the NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde Health Board area. You will support our patients and teams within a range of Secondary Care specialities. 

Tasks will include:

preparation of equipment and instruments

maintaining high levels of cleanliness with our clinical areas

ensuring patient comfort and safety at all times.

You must be a caring individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrate a strong team work ethic.
