Full Job Description

Balfour Beatty is seeking two Health and Safety Advisors to join our Power Transmission and Distribution team in Aberdeenshire. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting some of Scotland's largest power projects, ensuring the safety of our teams working on substations, cabling, and overhead lines. We are seeking a candidate who is proficient in producing Health and Safety documentation and can collaborate effectively with operational colleagues. Your role will involve providing crucial support during the pre-construction phase, ensuring a seamless transition to the construction phase. The successful candidate should be comfortable with both office-based tasks and on-site responsibilities. We are looking for candidates who are comfortable with travel between project sites, with occasional overnight stays as required. A company car will be provided, and expenses for overnight stays will be covered.

Membership of a relevant professional body (IOSH/IEMA) or working towards - Educated to NEBOSH National Level Certificate or equivalent - Comfortable in an office environment producing H&S documentation. - Full driving licence and willingness to travel - Good communicator with influencing and persuasion skills - Approachable - Good interpersonal skills and team player - Displaying and demonstrating the Balfour Beatty behaviours at all times - Incident/Accident investigator/fact finder
