Health, Safety, and Environment Officer

• COSHH and Risk Assessments: Develop and implement compliant, yet pragmatic solutions for the renewal of COSHH and Risk Assessments across the site. Ensure these are completed, implemented, and communicated effectively to all relevant parties.


• Risk Assessment Support: Contribute to risk assessments for all relevant site projects, ensuring thorough and accurate evaluations.


• Legislative Compliance: Ensure health and safety compliance with all relevant legislation, maintaining the highest standards of workplace safety.


• Health and Safety Culture: Drive a proactive health and safety culture by conducting regular audits on processes, supplies, and employee behaviour.
  
  NEBOSH Certificate: A mandatory requirement for this role.



• Chemical Handling Experience: Prior knowledge and experience of chemical handling within a manufacturing and laboratory setting would be advantageous.


• Manufacturing Environment Experience: Experience in health and safety within a manufacturing environment and health and safety contractor management is desirable.


• Communication Skills: Ability to provide clear, concise, and compliant solutions and training to relevant parties.
