Full Job Description
- Instruction and Assessment: + Deliver engaging and effective training sessions in health and social care topics. + Develop and update course materials, lesson plans, and assessment tools. + Assess students' work, providing constructive feedback and support to enhance their learning experience.
- Learner Support: + Provide one-on-one support and guidance to learners to help them achieve their qualifications. + Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
- Quality Assurance: + Ensure that all training and assessment activities meet regulatory and quality standards. + Participate in internal and external quality assurance processes.
- Collaboration: + Work closely with colleagues to share best practices and develop the curriculum. + Build and maintain relationships with local employers and community organizations.
- Professional Development: + Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and changes in legislation related to health and social care., This is a term time only post working over 42 weeks of the year working 22.5 hours per week. Day's/Times of working can be agreed and discussed with Wendy Hemsley at Midlands ETS.
- Experience: + Previous experience as a tutor, assessor, or in a relevant health and social care role. + Strong knowledge of health and social care policies, procedures, and practices.
- Skills: + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Strong organizational and time management abilities. + Proficient in using technology and online learning platforms.

+ Relevant qualification in health and social care (e.g., NVQ, Diploma, or Degree). + Teaching qualification (e.g., PTLLS, Cert Ed, or equivalent) is preferred. + Assessing qualifications (e.g. CAVA, D32/33) desirable + Internal Quality Assurance qualifications desirable
