Full Job Description

Applications are invited from individuals, for the above post in the Microbiology Laboratory, a busy and progressive department based in Ninewells Hospital, Dundee. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work in the diagnostic bacteriology section of a busy department within a large teaching hospital. Knowledge and experience of laboratory work would be an advantage but full training will be provided.

Your performance must comply with the national Mandatory Induction Standards for Healthcare Support Workers 2009 and with the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers.

Hours of work are: 18.25 hours per week (7.5 hour shifts between the hours of 12:00pm and 7pm Monday to Friday and Saturdays 8.30 to 1.30pm alternate weeks)
