We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Healthcare Support Worker to join our existing team to support the phlebotomy requirements across our acute inpatient wards.
The main duties of the post will be the collection of blood by venepuncture, across the inpatient wards and associated clinics however during periods of reduced activity you would be supported to work alongside the healthcare assistants in the wards. The successful candidate will also be required to be flexible in order to rotate covering all areas of the PRI site. Previous experience would be an advantage; however, training will be provided.
The hours of work will be between 7.00am and 11.00am, 5 days a week over Monday to Sunday including public holidays.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
