We are looking for a HGV driver to start immediately for our client based in Bellshill looking for Class 1 ADR Drivers

As a Class 1 Driver you must:

- Have C+E Licence

- Have a CPC Card and Digi tacho card

- ADR Ticket to carry gases

- Minimum 2 years Class 1 experience

- Minimum 6 months ADR experience

- Have no more than 3 points on licence

- Have a flexible approach to work

Class 1 drivers responsibilities include:

- Start times from 0700

- 48 hours per week

- Deliveries of gas cylinders to industrial and beverage companies

- Mix of handball and forklifted off drops

- Use of tail lift

- Use of handheld scanner for collections and deliveries

- Deliveries to customers across the central belt

- Some deliveries to Aberdeen or Inverness

- Some deliveries may require to drive a class 2

Prior to work commencing you will be required to attend a 2 week training programme/induction. Which includes a master drivers test.

The successful Class 1 ADR Driver can expect:

- Monday – Friday: £16.50 PAYE, £18.49 PAYE Advanced

- 28 days paid holiday pro rata on PAYE

- Overtime after 8hrs: £21.99 PAYE, £24.64 PAYE Advanced

- Weekly Pay

- 8hr minimum guaranteed pay per day

This position is commutable from Bellshill, Motherwell, Coatbridge, Holytown, Uddingston and other areas nearby to Bellshill.
