Full Job Description
Due to an increase in workload, we are pleased to invite an experienced HGV Technician to join our friendly family-owned business and work in our large workshop at Drumclog, Strathaven.
This role will require you to work on our own fleet of HGV vehicles including Class 1 Lorries, Class 2 Lorries and Tippers, Excavators and other items of plant when required.
Duties Include:
- Carry out vehicle safety inspections.
- Vehicle servicing and MOT prep
- Machine Servicing
- Fault finding and diagnostics.
- Maintain fleet to high standards in line with DVSA and FTA requirements
Skills required:
- A good level of technical knowledge, ability, and experience in the mechanical repair of HGV vehicles
- Work well on their own and to strict deadlines
- Must have experience using Texa Diagnostic Machines
- PC skills are required - R2C Experience is an advantage
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday 08:00 - 18:00
Saturday 08:00 - 16:00 (sometimes earlier depending on workload)
