Full Job Description

As a Cheeki Monkeys event organiser, your tasks will involve:

  • Sourcing venues to hold our events

  • Uploading upcoming event dates to free event listing websites and parent forums

  • Promoting our Nearly New Baby Sales via social media platforms

  • Building relationships with family orientated business

  • Overseeing event days; venue setup/directing stallholders to their allocated pitches etc.


  • Most of your work will involve marketing your events online (using Facebook etc.). This role is suitable for people of all ages and backgrounds. Cheeki Monkeys will provide you with all the knowledge that you require to be a successful event organiser within our organisation. Our mentoring techniques are valued highly by our existing team of event organisers.

    No experience required, work from home, be your own boss, working hours that fit around your family commitments; part-time, full-time, daytime or evenings, the choice is yours.,
  • Basic computer skills and access to the internet

  • Access to Microsoft Office to be able to open documents in MS Word & Excel

  • An interest in planning and coordinating community events

  • You should be an individual who enjoys being part of a team

  • You should be a people person, willing to make new friends

  • You should have the ability to create relationships with people from all walks of life

  • You should possess a good command of both verbal and written English

  • SET-UP COSTS

    To keep your expenditure to a minimum, we have developed an off the shelf simple and affordable package which allows you to set-up your own ready-made business.

    EXCLUSIVE TERRITORIES may be purchased at a cost of £150+vat which includes our all-inclusive Marketing and Operations Manual.

    Our in-depth Marketing and Operations Manual is precious to us and has been compiled in meticulous detail. It reveals all our secrets to success and contains many hints and tips that we don't want to randomly disclose. As a result, we don't want to be sending this out indiscriminately.

    EVENT INSURANCE is a necessity to run any type of events, this is not purchased through Cheeki Monkeys but we can recommend independent insurance providers. The cost of full cover for one year is approximately the equivalent of £9 per month.

    VENUE HIRE: You will need some funds to pay deposits for your venues upfront (typically £20-50).
    ONGOING MANAGEMENT FEES

    Our on-going management fees are 25% deducted from your booking fees income.

    As we take a percentage fee rather than a fixed monthly fee or fee per market, we have an on-going interest in the success of your events and we continue to work with you to make sure your events are a success. Put simply we don't earn any money if you don't!
