Full Job Description
We are looking to welcome enthusiastic and compassionate Care at Home Workers to join our expanding Re-ablement and Hospital Discharge team within the West Dunbartonshire Locality. As an integral member of the team, you will work in collaboration with colleagues from West Dunbartonshire Council and NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde to promote independence and well being following illness or injury. Your duties will include supporting people to participate in activities of daily living in their home and local area, in line with their personal support needs and goals.
We are particularly keen to hear from people who are patient and empathic with skills in communication and problem solving. The role is community-based therefore a full driving licence and access to a vehicle would be advantageous. All successful candidates should have an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare or equivalent or be willing to work towards this to gain SSSC registration.Requirements This post is considered as Regulated Work with Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 and as such membership with the PVG scheme is essential. The salary will be pro rata to the number of hours worked. (Hourly rate £13.76 per hour)
