Home Link Worker (PEF) (Fixed Term)

North West Community Campus – Primary

£10,797.10 - £11,548.55

We are seeking to appoint a motivated and nurturing Home Link Worker to support learners and families of North West Community Campus (Primary). As a Home Link Worker, you will have direct contact with families and will support improving attendance. Working 15 hours per week over term time, this is a fixed term vacancy until August 2025.  The position may be suitable for secondment and permission must be obtained from your line manager prior to application.

Your working pattern will be as follows:  Monday to Friday 8am to 11am.

You will be educated to HNC/VQ3 in a relevant subject and have previous experience in working with children and families.

A driving licence is essential for this post.

This post is considered as Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.  From 28 February 2011, preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update check prior to formal offer of employment being made by Dumfries and Galloway Council. 

Applicants who have been resident outside the UK within the last 5 years, if offered a position, in addition to a Disclosure Scotland Check, will be required to provide a completed police record check from the police authority in the country or countries in which they were resident.
