Full Job Description
We are looking for a Part Time Permanent Horticultural Assistant to join the team in our Klondyke Garden Centre., As a Horticultural Assistant, you must have specialist plant knowledge and be able provide excellent customer service & to create an exceptional shopping experience for our customers helping them to make informed purchases
What you will be doing as a Horticultural Assistant?
Plant stock replenishment and merchandising to create fabulous plant displays
Look after and care for our plants ensuring they are always healthy and looking great for our customers
Advising our customers on suitable plants and products for their needs, taking every opportunity to WOW.
Till operation and serving customers
Carry out cleaning and housekeeping tasks as needed
Assisting customers with carrying purchases to their cars
Collecting trolleys and shopping baskets
Friendly, with an engaging personality and a genuine love for customer service.
Knowledgeable and passionate about plants and plant replated products
Strong customer service skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Great teamwork.
Hardworking
Shift flexibility including weekends.
The ability to work well and efficiently under pressure.
Our competitive rates of pay range from £9.58 to £11.46 per hour dependent on age.
The hours for this position are 15 per week over 2 days Saturday & Sunday., Competitive rates of pay
