To enable us to continue to develop as a company, we are currently recruiting for a Hospitality Assessor to work within the Central Belt area of Scotland to deliver hospitality qualifications. This would entail visiting candidates within their workplace to carry out assessments and completing necessary paperwork ensuring candidates achieve learning outcomes.

The right applicant would also have the opportunity to deliver training within schools, teaching practical cookery skills in a classroom environment, working mainly with pupils with additional support needs.

Requirements:

- Applicants are required to have extensive knowledge and experience in hospitality and in the delivery of SVQs.

- Applicants MUST have previous experience of working in the hospitality industry preferably kitchen experience

- Applicants must have the ability to assist learners in achieving outcomes in line with qualification requirements.

- Applicants MUST have a recognised Assessor Qualifications (e.g LD9D1 Workplace Assessor Award or equivalent)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Freelance

Pay: From £25,000.00 per year

Expected hours: No more than 37.5 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Motherwell, North Lanarkshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

• CHEF/HOSPITALITY: 3 years (preferred)
• HOSPITALITY ASSESSOR: Minimum 2 years (preferred)
