Full Job Description

We are looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor at Mansley Serviced Apartments A family run business for over 50 years with a portfolio of Luxury Serviced Apartments across the U.K. We are seeking an individual who enjoys working on their own, is able to take initiative, is customer service focused, enjoys dealing with guests and who is not afraid to take ownership of the role. You will be based at our Edinburgh properties working 5 days from 7, and a minimum of 37.5 hours per week.

    Responsibilities for the Housekeeping Team Leaderrole will include but are not limited to:
  • Daily cleaning of apartments

  • Agreeing quality standards with Management and maintaining them through planning, training and daily supervision of the team, ensuring the Mansley quality standards are maintained at all times

  • Monitor and ensure staff morale and motivation is high

  • Conduct cleaning quality audits of apartments on a regular basis.

  • Liaise with Front Office for any early departures and organise early cleaning for arrivals

  • Maintain and order appropriate levels of stock to ensure the smooth running of the apartments, and within budget

  • Ensure laundry stock and standards are maintained, rejected items are recorded properly and effectively

  • Liaise with Front of House to report any items in need of renewal or repair

  • Ensure proper use of chemicals/cleaning supplies by monitoring usage, training for team members, and proper labelling and storing of chemicals

    Good Time Management, with a flexible attitude to working shifts

  • Energetic, cheerful and helpful personality

  • Excellent Communication Skills

  • Good spoken and written English

  • Guest Service Orientated

  • Be computer literate
