Location: Royston, Glasgow

Salary: £39,072 - £42,903

Grade: EVH Grade 7

Hours: Part Time – 21 hours per week (Wed, Thu & Fri) 

Contract: Permanent


Spire View Housing Association is looking for an exceptional Housing Officer to join the Royston team on a part-time basis.


Our mission is to provide high quality affordable housing and services which will contribute to the community we serve. To do this we need passionate and enthusiastic employees who wish to make a positive difference to our tenants and service users. Our Housing Services Officers are key to turning our vision into a reality. 


You will need experience delivering an efficient and effective housing management service, an understanding of our tenants’ priorities and deliver on our promises to provide excellent customer service and great value for money. Helping us to ensure that Spire View remains the “landlord of choice” for our Royston community.


In this role, you will need to focus on rent accounting and be able to demonstrate practical approaches and problem solving when it comes to assisting tenants with their payments and accessing benefits. Allocations, voids and estates management are key elements of the role too, you will be expected to manage your housing patch effectively, liaising with external agencies and promoting participation and engagement from our tenants. 


You should be a confident communicator and be used to producing reports, statistics and information on a regular basis. Our focus is on continual improvement, and great customer service, you should be able to play your part maintaining high standards. We expect our housing officers to be able to work effectively within the team, while supervising the day-to-day work of the Housing Assistants.
