Full Job Description
Anderson Knight is excited to be partnering with our client in Lanarkshire to recruit an experienced HR Adviser. In this role, you will provide expert HR support and guidance, playing a pivotal part in the delivery of high-quality, people-focused HR services. As an HR Adviser, you’ll drive key HR initiatives, foster a positive employee experience, and ensure the organisation continues to thrive with best-in-class HR practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- HR Guidance & Support: Provide expert advice on HR policies, procedures, and employment law, ensuring consistency and compliance across the organisation.
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Assist with end-to-end recruitment, from drafting job descriptions and conducting interviews to facilitating smooth onboarding experiences.
- Employee Relations: Manage and advise on employee relations issues, including disciplinary, grievance, and performance management cases, ensuring fair and consistent handling.
- Training & Development: Work closely with managers to identify skill gaps and development needs, coordinating appropriate training programs that align with business goals.
- Workforce Planning: Monitor and analyse key HR metrics, providing valuable insights to support strategic workforce planning and decision-making.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant employment legislation and organisational policies, proactively mitigating risks and safeguarding best practices.
About You:
We are looking for a highly organised, approachable, and solutions-driven HR professional. You will possess a solid foundation in HR practices and a genuine desire to make a meaningful impact on the workplace by fostering a positive employee experience and implementing effective HR strategies.
Essential Criteria:
- Proven experience in a similar HR Adviser or HR generalist role.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- Demonstrated experience in managing employee relations cases, ensuring fair and timely resolutions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees and managers at all levels.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, adaptable, and solution-focused approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
