Salary range:  £36,924 - £45,163

FTE:  1.0 (35 hours per week)

Term:  Fixed (to 31 May 2026)

As an HR Adviser for our Faculty of Engineering Innovation Centres, you will provide a professional and proactive HR service to key business areas with assistance from the HR Partner, as required. You will support the Innovation Centre management teams to plan and organise HR activities including developing people-related proposals/plans and contributing to strategies which support the annual and more long-term business planning of these Innovation Centres. You will exercise discretion and independence both in terms of managing the HR service for these Innovation Centres and in influencing and advising individual senior managers. You will work in partnership with the Innovation Centres and the Faculty Office and Engineering HR Manager/Team to deliver value-adding guidance and expertise, provide a consistent approach and a seamless service for our staff and managers.

Degree qualified with CIPD accreditation, you will have a proven track record of working in professional-level HR roles. You will have strong knowledge of employment law and people management good practice and be skilled at adopting a business partnering approach. You will have good written and oral communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior management and staff at all levels.

This role will spend up to 50% of the week embedded within the business area, predominately based at Inchinnan.
