Full Job Description

Anderson Knight is working exclusively with a client based in Glasgow to recruit a HR Advisor. This is a permanent position, 35 hours per week with hybrid working. Our client also offers the option for a 4 day week with reduced hours.


Our client is seeking a proactive HR Advisor to join their team and contribute to fostering a positive and dynamic workplace culture. In this role, you’ll play a key part in managing day-to-day HR operations, managing employee relations casework, driving recruitment efforts, and overseeing reporting activities. The position offers a varied and exciting workload, allowing you to work on a range of impactful projects. Success in this role will depend on your strong organisational abilities and a proactive mindset.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support managers in addressing Employee Relations (ER) issues, offering guidance on disciplinary and grievance procedures.
  • Provide expert advice on Attendance and Performance Management.
  • Handle daily HR tasks, such as employee onboarding, offboarding, and general HR administration.
  • Lead the recruitment process from job posting through to candidate selection and onboarding.
  • Prepare and analyse HR reports, providing actionable insights to improve HR processes.
  • Participate in and contribute to HR initiatives, including employee engagement and development programs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with employees, offering HR support and guidance.
  • Stay up-to-date with HR best practices, policies, and procedures.
