Full Job Description

Our client a dynamic and forward-thinking professional services firm are currently seeking a motivated and proactive HR Assistant to join their growing team. As an HR Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our HR department with a wide range of tasks, with a particular focus on recruitment and employee relations. This is a developmental role that offers a fantastic opportunity for a self-starter who is eager to grow and make an impact. You will have the autonomy to take ownership of recruitment processes and will be actively involved in employee relations matters, ensuring that you develop a well-rounded skill set in HR.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment: Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, from drafting job descriptions and posting vacancies to screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and managing offers.
  • Employee Relations (ER): Assist with ER issues, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution. Provide support to managers.
  • HR Administration: Manage HR documentation, including contracts, onboarding materials, and employee records. Ensure all HR processes comply with legal requirements and company policies.
  • HR Projects: Get involved in various HR projects, such as employee engagement initiatives, performance management, and training programs.
  • Ad-hoc Support: Provide general administrative support to the HR team and assist with any ad-hoc tasks as required.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Self-Starter: You are confident in taking the initiative and running with tasks independently.
  • Experience: Previous experience in an HR or recruitment role is desirable but not essential; we are open to candidates with a strong desire to learn and grow in HR.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You are comfortable interacting with people at all levels.
  • Organisational Skills: Strong organizational abilities with great attention to detail. You can juggle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Problem Solver: You enjoy problem-solving and are able to navigate complex situations with tact and professionalism.
  • Team Player: A collaborative mindset with the ability to work well as part of a team, while also being self-sufficient.

Why we offer:

  • Development Opportunities: This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your HR career in a supportive and dynamic environment. You’ll have the chance to gain hands-on experience in a wide range of HR functions.
  • Supportive Team: Work alongside a friendly and experienced HR team who will support your growth and development.
  • Professional Growth: We are committed to your professional development and offer opportunities for further training and progression.
