Not your average role….

It’s an exciting time to be part of the ScotRail HR Team. ScotRail’s HR Business Partners work closely with our business leaders to help build organisational and people capability and support the implementation of their business plans, whilst utilising management information and people insights. Our Business Partners help support the HR Advisory team, providing expert advice and guidance on complex people and employee relations matters. In addition, the HR Business Partner will lead on the delivery of HR strategic themes or projects within their business area and will provide significant expertise to the change process and associated consultation frameworks.

What you bring

* Significant HR Business Partner experience within a unionised environment and knowledge of employee relations and the application of UK Employment Law.

* Experience of leading the delivery of corporate wide change initiatives and representing the HR Directorate as the SME on multiple projects.

* Excellent analytical skills with ability to identify trends through analysis of management information and to advise on appropriate action plans.

* Effective relationship management and communication skills with the ability to positively influence and challenge senior stakeholders.

* Educated to Degree level or equivalent qualification or experience.

* Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) or working towards.

Please note – ScotRail offers a hybrid working model which is typically 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home, 35 hours per week.
