Full Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced HR Coordinator for an initial 12-month contract. The selected candidate will play a vital role in the HR team, providing support to the team and business operations in the UK and Netherlands. Responsibilities include offering HR advice, managing processes and policies and ensuring seamless coordination to deliver consistent and credible HR support across all business functions. This position offers a hybrid working arrangement from their central Aberdeen offices.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a relationship with the business including offshore/onshore operations, also managing the HR Inbox - provide day to day advice and guidance on HR systems, policies and procedures, escalating as needed.
  • Deliver HR Processes including contract production, data management, reference requests, organisation chart production, and other regular coordination activities required both internally and externally.
  • Focal point for management of invoices in SAP, POs and PRs ensuring that invoices are correct and paid on a timely basis and that there are sufficient funds on POs for payment of invoices. Liaise with HR suppliers and providers as required to resolve queries with invoices/POs.
  • Support for ER case management, absence management tracking, learning & development administration, management of contractual changes, resourcing process administration and performance improvement/management.
  • Support the headcount process, tracking approvals and raising requisitions in Workday to support the resourcing process.
  • Operating to the highest standard of analysis and interpretation of data, provide accurate and timely HR data, analysis and insights ensuring it is easily understood by others.
  • Deliver on Workday queries and requests. Work closely with People Partners and the People Advisor to ensure accuracy of data in Workday and the recording of data changes accurately and efficiently.
  • Assess Workday system functionality and actively participate in project life cycles: requirements gathering, configuration, testing, training, deployment and change management.
  • Proactively identify, plan and execute continuous improvement projects to implement efficiencies in processes - ensuring key stakeholders are involved and updates are cascaded.
  • Manage regular data audits to ensure employee data, systems and benefit portals are kept up to date at all times.
  • Support payroll processing and administration and expenses process, providing backup and cover for other team roles and activities when required.
  • Support with HR communications that are sent out to the business
  • Work across the team to ensure HR Pipeline pages related to HR are kept up to date.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Has a robust knowledge of applicable HR regulation and standards, as well as company HR policies and practices.
  • Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel
  • Experienced Workday user
  • Experienced SAP user
  • Excellent organisational and collaboration skills
  • Developing a strong contextual understanding of the business and using this to learn to understand how to develop people solutions to business challenges and risks
  • Developing knowledge of HR disciplines and the role HR plays in organisations.
  • Keeps up to date on developments in the HR profession.
  • Degree qualification in a relevant discipline
  • CIPD certification or working towards
  • HR Graduate with a number of years HR generalist or specialist experience
  • Demonstrable relationship and HR advisory skills
