Full Job Description

As a HR Coordinator you will provide an efficient and effective administrative function, and coordination to support the Group HR Employee Relations team in order to ensure a high level of service and HR support is delivered to the company. What you'll do:

  • Coordinate and response to HR queries from employees and People Leaders, providing guidance, within level of competence
  • Build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Support on the production of operational reports on a regular basis on such topics such as Contract Amendments, Absence, Statistics for Board Reports and general reports requested by the business
  • Provide assistance in updating standard operating procedures (SOPs) and processes, ensuring other HR teams are updated, and steps in place to check governance
  • Maintain employee records, ensuring that they are fit for purpose, accurate and up to date
  • Keep the HR System (People First) and SharePoint (Robertzone) up to date and accurate i.e. amending and uploading information as appropriate alongside HR Administrator
  • Analyze data and trends to identify peaks in work
  • Liaise with Group support Functions on behalf of the HR Employee Relations Team, including Payroll, Fleet, Finance and SHE
  • Lead on the creation of people data reports, using excel and PowerBi
  • Manage monthly audits regarding People First data and employee files
  • Support ER Manager & HR Advisor & Admin Team Lead with administration of employee compensation and benefits, including PMI and Flu Vouchers
  • Leading and supporting the HR Administrator with the processing of all contract amendments, leavers paperwork, referencing, probationary periods and raise any issues from analysis and trends
  • Supporting the team on minute taking from time to time
  • Respond to queries from the Bid teams as appropriate, providing accurate reporting data and analysis where required with support from HR Advisors and HR Administrator
  • Ensure you are a confident user and champion People First and actively encourage business engagement to help resolve problems for employees and people leaders
  • Any other relevant duties/projects that may be assigned by the ER Manager from time to time

    Good level of education, particularly in English/Maths/Administration subjects
  • Completed or working towards Level 9 SCQD CIPD Intermediate in HRM or equivalent grade
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Significant experience in excel and manipulating large amounts of data
  • Competent at excel formula, including V look up
  • Some experience in PowerBi
  • A good level understanding of employment contracts and employment law
  • Good communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Good attention to detail
  • Basic understanding of GDPR
  • Proficient on all relevant software packages including E-mail, Word and in particular Excel
  • Good team player
  • Willing to use initiative when required
