Eden Scott are recruiting for an HR Manager for our city centre client on a fixed term contract basis for 12 months initially and on a part time basis (26-30 hours per week0

The part time hours can be flexible but there is a presence required in their office on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Generalist to join a proudly Scottish brand to support with managing and administering all the HR activity across the company to ensure a robust and supportive HR function, enhancing employee experience. The successful candidate will support on all aspects of the employee journey, including;

  • Recruitment
  • Onboarding
  • Performance management
  • Payroll
  • Employee relations
  • Learning and development
  • Leavers
  • HR projects

A full job spec is available but the following responsibilities include;

  • Full ownership and coordination of the recruitment process - effective talent attraction, , posting job adverts, screening CVs, corresponding with applicants and scheduling interviews.
  • Onboarding and exit process, including completion of pre-employment checks and references and issuing offer letters and contracts.
  • Preparing monthly payroll information and liaising with external payroll partner and group pension scheme.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records and collating information for HR reports
  • Providing guidance to managers on employee relations issues and queries, including performance management, disputes, and grievances.
  • Reviewing and maintaining employee policies
  • Supporting with the implementation of other ad hoc People projects
