Full Job Description
We have embarked on a transformational programme to simplify and overhaul our People Processes and we are looking for an experienced Programme/Project Manager who has a track record of delivering such process simplification projects across organisation People Operations systems. The HR Transformation Agile Project Manager will play a pivotal role in leading and managing the execution of HR transformation initiatives. Working closely with cross-functional HR teams, this position will drive the adoption of agile methodologies to deliver strategic HR projects, improve processes throughout the Employee Life Cycle. You will be responsible for:
- Managing the end-to-end delivery of HR transformation initiatives, including process reengineering (streamline processes and procedures), system implementation upgrades (e.g., Oracle, Resource Link etc), and policy updates.
- Apply agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) to plan, organize, and execute HR transformation projects, ensuring adaptability to change and continuous improvement. Embed lean processes into the Programme initially and lead Lean implementation in the wider transformation team.
- Working closely with key stakeholders including HR leadership, business units, IT, and external vendors to ensure alignment of transformation goals with business objectives.
- Coaching and leading cross-functional agile project teams, promoting a culture of collaboration, transparency, and accountability.
- Identifying project risks, dependencies, and issues, and developing mitigation strategies to ensure smooth execution of HR projects.
- Creating and maintaining project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget from inception to delivery.
Established experience in project management with a proven track record of leading HR transformation projects, including digital transformation, Human Resource Information Systems implementation or process re-engineering initiatives. - Experience working in large-scale HR change initiatives, such as transitioning from traditional HR functions to agile HR practices with a focus on process improvement.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and systems, including talent acquisition, performance management, payroll, and employee engagement.
- Lean Sigma Six certified.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience within a healthcare environment would be an advantage.
- PMP, Agile or other project management certifications preferred.

Salary: Up to £85,000 depending on experience Contract: 12month FTC Based: This role is predominantly home-based and can be based anywhere within the UK.
