Full Job Description
Starting September contract will be for 3 months. There may be a further requirement for this role after the initial 3 months, however this will be reviewed in due course and separate agreement would be put in place. The project is based in UK Central North Sea and experience as HSEQ Coach / Advisor in UKCS is essential.
Candidates must have the right to work in the UK as no visa sponsorship will be provided.
Scope of Services:
The HSEQ compliance role shall primarily be focussed on ensuring the DRILLING CONTRACTOR is performing best oil field practice and conducting the WORK as per their procedures.
- Ensure consistent application of policies and procedures across shifts. Specifically control of work and verification that mitigations and controls are in place.
- Support offshore team to understand and implement HSEQ procedures, feedback improvements to ensure all relevant legislation is complied with.
- Confirm pragmatic risk management solutions are implemented to deliver safe and efficient operations at the well site.
- Lead and participate in audits and liaise with the onshore HSEQ team to ensure delivery of the audit programmes. Petrofac Operational Assurance Monitoring programme (OAM).
- Demonstrate active safety guidance at the work face and build trust with the workforce.
- Lead offshore delivery and training for HSE programmes and initiatives.
- Aid with ER Planning and OPEP exercises.
- Liaise with onshore HSEQ regarding Environmental monitoring to ensure all elements of relevant legislation are complied with.
- Support safety observation systems / incident investigation providing coaching as required and lead investigations where necessary.
- Review quality and accuracy of incident investigations, actions and close out from Drilling Contractor.
- Offshore focal point for Corporate & Regulatory Inspections.
- Roll out all Permit and EAJ submission requirements to the Drilling Contractor and all relevant team members.
- Ensure all Permits are complied with.
- Preparation of flash alerts.
- Lead, monitor and review the delivery of the Operational Assurance Monitoring plan.
- Weekly HSE report.
- Chair and participate in weekly HSE meeting & tri weekly on/offshore HSE meeting.
- Proactively look ahead and perform active risk monitoring and ensuring all at site hazards captured within Turus.
Deliverables:
