Full Job Description

As our OFTO portfolio grows, we are recruiting an inhouse HVAC Service Engineer to join our team. Working as park of the wider Asset Management team, your daily tasks can include fault finding, carrying out repairs, maintenance & services/tests and installation/upgrade of all aspects of the HVAC Systems across all OFTO sites., Annual and 6 Monthly Inspections of all electrical & mechanical aspects of site HVAC including but not limited to the following equipment:

  • A/C Split Systems / Fresh Air Supply & Extract AHUs

  • Air Conditioning Units, Fresh Air Supply & Extract AHUs, Pressure Switches, Drive Systems, Motors, Belts, Dampers, Fans, Coils, Condensing Unit, Air Thermal Devices, Filters, Grilles, Diffuser

  • F-Gas - Coolant top-ups, Leak Investigation

    HVAC service engineers need excellent problem solving skills, technical ability and IT knowledge. The role requires experience and knowledge of testing, repairing and operating HVAC systems, as well as the ability to learn about new ones.


  • We often meet clients and other contractors face-to-face so a personable approach, as well as good communication and customer skills, is vital to the role. An HVAC service engineer works both alone and as part of a team, so also needs to be able to interact well with colleagues. They need to be confident working unsupervised on their own initiative or as part of a team.

    Qualifications and Experience
  • An NVQ or City and Guilds in an HVAC-related field

  • HVAC certification (F Gas Certificate)

  • 18th Edition electrical qualification

  • Clean full driving license
