Full Job Description

Applies foundational technical knowledge of an architecture solution to meet business requirements and resolve identified technical constraints
Focus on independent execution, problem solving and demonstration of passion towards engineering excellence
Work on various complex projects, as a Technical Expert in the IBM i environment
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure technical deliverables are met

In-depth IBM i software knowledge spanning ideally 10+ Years with SME levels of exposure of IBM i OS - 3rd Party products a nice to have
Profound experience with PASE, Linux, Ansible, Python, Git
Knowledge of HTTPS/IWS integration with APIs on the IBM i platform at a high competency level alongside SQL
PowerVC desirable (nice to have)
Good knowledge and exposure to Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Elastic and at least working understanding of OTEL
Ideally previous experience in a software engineering-type role or previous developer role (RPG/CL)
