The Role:

As our Integrated Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the development,
management, and provision of assessment, case management, and rehabilitation for adults with complex needs. Your leadership will be crucial in preventing hospital admissions and ensuring seamless service delivery across our partnership, as well as supporting discharge from hospital.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Management: Lead and inspire social work teams, managing local teams within West Dunbartonshire HSCP to deliver effective services and streamlined care pathways.

Staff Development: Ensure an optimal environment for staff to reach their maximum potential, adhering to organisational policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Service Coordination: Coordinate service delivery by staff employed by West Dunbartonshire Council and NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, ensuring effective and efficient workforce management.

Monitoring and Governance: Oversee the monitoring and governance of commissioned services, ensuring high standards and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience in a senior management role within statutory social work.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate multidisciplinary teams.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective partnerships.

A thorough understanding of integrated care pathways and the ability to manage complex cases.

Commitment to user and carer involvement in service delivery and improvement.
Strategic thinker with the ability to implement and drive forward change.

Requirements

This post is considered as Regulated Work with Adults and/or Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 and as such membership with the PVG scheme is essential. Further details of this scheme can be found here.

Preferred applicants will be required to become members of the relevant PVG scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council.
