Interim Financial Controller - Cash & Banking

Meraki Talent are supporting with the appointment of an Interim Financial Controller based in Edinburgh paying a daily rate equivalent of up to £80,000.

The Opportunity

This role presents the opportunity to join growing, and diversifying highly commercial business with an outstanding culture.

The business are currently evaluating a permanent role in the finance function, and whilst that process is ongoing to determine structure, remit and level they wish to bring in an experienced Interim Financial Controller to support & provide additional bandwidth.

The role support the CFO and Finance Director with some pivotal functions in business, that critical to the businesses operations.

The key components will include:

·      Production and presentation of monthly reporting packs to C-Suite and SLT in relation to cash management, cashflow analysis and forecasting

·      Helping to build and enhance models for cashflow analysis and forecasting

·      Set up and development of the cash, financial control and reporting function

·      Developing of cash processes, procedures, and controls

·      Working with the project team to develop and consolidate internal systems, BI tools and reporting capabilities

·      Training and development of a small team of Accounts Assistants

·      Bank account and bank relationship management

·      Reviewing and developing compliance in relation to bank & lender covenants

On Offer

The position of Interim Financial Controller is based in Edinburgh with good hybrid & flexible working conditions. The role will be required to support for a minimum of 3 months, but could be extended if mutually agreeable.

The daily rate will be equivalent of up to £80,000 base salary
