Interim Senior Financial Accountant

Hutcheon Mearns is working with a large, successful oil service company to source an Interim Senior Financial Accountant on a 3-month contract basis to support with year-end.

Key Responsibilities:

• Balance sheet reconciliations prep and review
• Support the intercompany process
• Preparing the Profit Loss and Balance Sheet for smaller UK entities
• Preparing year end additional disclosures and Group Reporting requirements
• Supporting Internal Controls team with COSL back-up and support
• Posting month end journals
• Supporting the year end audit process
• Support wider teams in the UK and AUS with all year end activities
• Support Treasury team with weekly/monthly forecasting preparation
• Ad hoc year end tasks and one-off projects as required

To be considered for the role you will be an experienced interim Financial Accountant who has a professional manner and the ability to deal with Senior management. You will have strong IT skills and be very competent in the use of Excel. Most importantly you will be available to start at short notice.
